'Spotlight' falls on Joan Crawford ...
The 'spotlight' fell on OAG member, Joan Crawford, as this months feature member of the British Art Club. The subsequent article is published in July's edition of 'Artists & Illustrators' magazine.

Joan's abstract paintings were celebrated for their 'energy, colour and unspoken narrative ... her paintings don't simply replicate what she sees; they channel her emotional response to her surroundings.'

Next month Joan will feature in her first solo exhibition to be held in Gallery Thirteen. Read more about Joan

Saturday 1 March
Marieta Sotirova: Review
Marieta, a professional artist, undertook a cityscape painting in oils, demonstrating to an enthusiastic group of OAG members.
Her skills shone through as she covered many points from the preparation stages through to the emotional feelings and actions we all go through when painting.

Saturday 1 February
Rodney Kingston:Review
Rodney is a talented artist who explores a broad range of subject matter, across various media. He has appeared in Sky Arts Portrait and Landscape Artist of the Year on two occasions.
For this demonstration Rodney tackled a still life working in oils. Rodney chose a study of 3 items that could be found in most artist studios with the complexity of glass and metal surfaces.

OAG in the Spotlight ...
The Odiham Art Group appears in the Autumn edition of the Paint & Create Magazine - published by the SAA (Society of All Artists).
This article not only outlines the "long history" of our group but illustrates the way we successfully run our demonstration and workshop programme culminating in our major exhibition in August.
