Christine Sharp: Acrylics

Christine works primarily in acrylics, painting a wide range of land and seascapes, inspired by her childhood in the Yorkshire Dales and travels around the coast of the UK.

Her style has moved more towards semi-abstract over the years and aims to capture the feeling of space and wildness found in open moors and wild coastline. Sometimes the subjects are of a particular view but often they are a blend of impressions of a place and the emotions it inspires.

Christine has exhibited widely throughout the UK and is a leading member of Odiham Art Group.
