Rachel Redfern
Oils: Floral Abstract
The OAG are delighted to welcome Rachel Redfern as this months demonstrator.
Rachel draws on photography and sketches based on her time spent in the natural world before returning to her studio.
She balances her creative life with a passion for coaching and the healing benefits of creativity, having trained as a Relational Dynamic Coach. This intersection between art and therapy led to her being taken on as the Artist in Residence for a year at Cabilla, Cornwall.
Roger Dellar Review
Oils: Marine
Roger Dellar gave an entertaining and accomplished demonstration. He invited the OAG audience to select his subject from a collection of photographs he had taken at various coastal resorts around the UK.
A beach scene, taken at Seaview on the Isle of Wright was chosen and Roger made quick work of getting his painting started.

Julian Routledge: Review
Julian entertained the OAG audience with a mix of personal information about selling his art whilst simultaneously demonstrating the skills required to paint two birds, a Robin and a Bullfinch.
Julian likes to work on simple acrylic boards working on up to three or four pieces at a time. Working on multiple pieces ensures that he can continue to work whilst the paint is drying.
