Rukeyah began painting some 12 years ago having had no previous experience. Rukeyah paints a broad range of subjects, mainly working in oils.

Rukeyah has exhibited with successful art societies in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire, as well as exhibiting at AppArt near Godalming.

 

Rukeyah was one of the twenty finalists in the Holly Bush Emerging Women Painter Prize 2020 competition and short listed in 2023.
