Like many people, I re-evaluated my work/life balance during the pandemic, and I decided that I wanted to spend more time doing things which gave me enjoyment, rather than employment and I stopped working in 2022. 

 

I didn’t really know what I wanted to do but have always been creative with a love of flowers and animals.  I invested in some watercolours and more recently coloured pencils and set about teaching myself from tutorials.

 

I’m still learning and have discovered that with watercolours I can capture the delicacy of botanicals whilst coloured pencils enable me to create realistic animals.
