My mixed media paintings and collages all reflect my enjoyment of being outdoors in nature which I find calming and restorative. I love the simplicity of a sunny day, a windy walk, my home life and garden, birds, flowers, plants and the changing seasons.

I enjoy experimenting with a variety of materials using still life, my sketchbooks and photos as starting points. I apply layers of acrylic paints and inks using a variety of brushes and spatulas adding ink or pastel, hand-decorated collage papers, often layering text, thread and recycled fabrics too.

As I trained in textile design, I also enjoy making colourful merino wool felt fabrics which I cut and sew into small gifts.

I live in Odiham where I have a lovely studio at the top of my garden. I take part in Open Studios and local events and run regular art classes and workshops.
