I began my artistic journey 13 years ago at Marlborough Summer School, long after I had established a career as a Physiotherapist and raised 4 children.

 

My paintings are inspired by the natural world: flowers, vegetables, landscapes and sea views. I find great joy in the tactile nature of acrylic paint. I love using a palette knife to create texture and depth, and I often incorporate tissue paper under watercolours to encourage interesting pools of colour. This experimental approach allows my painting to evolve in unexpected ways and I enjoy this freedom.
