Like most OAG members I have drawn and painted all my life with varying degrees of commitment and success. Throughout those years, I have juggled my efforts around family and career but since retirement I have been able to enjoy the luxury of an art room (spare bedroom) and time.

For the past few years I have largely focused my efforts on portrait and life classes. Moving from oils to water colour and the recent addition of Aquabords!

Joining the OAG has helped to push me in new directions with the benefit of professional demonstrations and workshops. It has also increased my 'painting budget' which is probably best left to the imagination ....
