Lindsay works in pure watercolour using only a limited amount of white gouache and sometimes without any preliminary drawing.

​

She has been making artwork since forever but in 1990, after completing a pre-degree foundation course, she concentrated more on Watercolour finding this painting media suited her the best allowing her to get the image in her mind’s eye down on paper in the minimum amount of time. 

 

Her interest is caught by many things, regardless of the subject, and she loves the ability to either obscure or enhance reality with an impressionistic brush of colour.

Her work is shown on her website and in many group exhibitions in Hampshire, Surrey, London and France and she enjoys commissions of any type.
