Having started painting late in life it has become a stimulating, fulfilling and interesting lifelong hobby. I prefer watercolours but have also produced work in charcoal, pastel, pen and ink and crayons.  I like landscapes most of all but have produced portraits/faces, buildings and mixed media images.

 

I also enjoy painting and communicating with other painters, watching live demonstrations, workshops, videos about painting, attending painting exhibitions, framing paintings and painting with my grandchildren. All the areas of activity linked to the wonderful hobby of painting and not just the action of painting itself.
